Purchasing/Inventory Associate

The Purchasing/Inventory Associate is an integral part of the maintenance and administrative teams, providing efficient and cost effective procurement and inventory management of aircraft parts, shop supplies, and outside services.  Must be a team player that works well in a fast-paced environment, is very organized, and is great at follow-through.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains an accurate computerized inventory control system
  • Purchases parts to replenish inventory and as needed for specific customer requirements; keeps team members informed of expected delivery dates for parts and supplies
  • Inspects, receives in, labels, and distributes or stores all incoming orders
  • Schedules outside services as needed for aircraft repairs outside of our scope
  • Ships parts, products, and documents to customers and vendors, both domestic and international in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintains an organized, clean stock area and shipping/receiving areas
  • Routinely cycle counts inventory to ensure accuracy
  • Prepares kit materials and assembles kits
  • Accurately enters all transactions in QuickBooks
  • Schedules calibration of all tools/equipment
  • Maintains accurate records for product traceability

  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Knowledge of hardware, airplane and/or engine parts a plus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks inventory management or similar software
  • Minimum of 2 years in similar position

LOCATION:  This position is based in Cumberland, Wisconsin.

JOB TYPE:  Full-time/days/M-F/8a-5p

EDUCATION:  High school diploma/GED required; Associate’s degree preferred
