Custom Cirrus-Specific Tools
Gascolator Drain Valve Tool
This tool was made specifically to safely and securely hold the Curtis drain valve while removing the retaining nut. Using a 3/4″ drive wrench or socket, the two field-replaceable pins secure the drain valve against rotation. Short-Flex Turbo Spark Plug Socket
The Short Flex Turbo Spark Plug Socket has been custom-made for removing spark plugs hidden behind the intercooler on the Cirrus SR22 (turbo and turbo normalized). Utilizing a Snap-On socket and 1/2″ S7 tool steel, the components are waterjet-cut, the edges are deburred, and everything is hand polished!
Based on years of working on Cirrus engines, we’ve developed this tool to assist with the removal of Turbo or Turbo Normalized spark plugs. This tool extends the length of your 7/8″ 12-point flare nut adapter wrench to make removal easier. Saves time and frustration!
Removing a wheel pant involves spreading the wheel pant to clear the tow bar lugs. An easier way is to first remove the front tow bar lugs themselves. But don’t use a vise grip or improperly sized screwdriver!
Use our custom-designed tow bar lug adapter to make removal and reinstallation quick and easy!
Each adapter is machined from S7 tool steel and heat-treated for long service life. Designed with a ½” hex drive, the adapter can be used with a socket or wrench.
There are two lug designs used on the Cirrus aircraft. Check the chart below before ordering. *Please note that the below chart is referring to OEM lugs. If your lug has been replaced recently, you may actually have a rounded lug, as all new lugs are of the rounded style. After visually checking your plane, select the adapter that fits your lug style.

Aviation Oil Filter Wrench
Snap-On oil filter wrench specifically made for general aviation 1″ hex oil filters. Its compact size allows for reach into restricted areas. 3/8″ drive, 1″ ratcheting box wrench. Made in USA.
Magnetic Spark Plug Socket
This spark plug socket features a thin-walled design to get into the tightest confines. Its magnetic interior helps ensure that you won’t accidentally drop the plug. Fits Champion, Autolite and Tempest 7/8″ spark plugs. 3/8″ drive, 3½” overall length.
Spark Plug Gap Expansion Tool
This tool expands the spark gap of any massive electrode aviation plug safely and efficiently. Simply hook the tool under the outer electrode and apply a bit of downward pressure to gently and safely expand the gap without any contact to the center electrode. No risk of cracking the ceramic casing which could result in reduced spark plug performance or total spark plug failure. 5.6″ long, .375″diameter. Made in USA.
Convenient gap gauge for all aircraft massive and fine-wire electrode spark plugs. Slider design keeps gauge wires stowed away when not in use. Includes wire for .015″, .019″, .018″, and .022″. Works with all Champion, Tempest, AC, and Autolite spark plugs.
Spark Plug Tray
This spark plug tray holds up to 12 spark plugs. Spark plug positions are marked 1-6, top and bottom. All metal construction.
Fine Wire Spark Plug Gap Tool
Fine-wire spark plug gap tool. Designed exclusively for adjusting fine-wire electrode spark plug gaps. Two slot sizes fit all platinum or iridium ground electrodes for quick, safe adjustment.
Fuel Injector Socket
Custom-made fuel injector sockets designed for replacing TCM fuel nozzles on your Continental-powered Cirrus SR20 (360 Series) or Cirrus SR22 (550 Series). Made of S7 tool steel, counter-bored, EDM processed, heat treated, and clear zinc finished for corrosion protection. Will handle your brass fuel nozzles with ease without removing induction tubes. (Use 1/2″ 6-pt 1/4″ drive swivel socket to turn this adapter.)
The PRO360 digital protractor is a revolutionary measuring tool that provides an immediate, digital reading of all angles in a 360o circle. The machined aluminum frame is a rigid, light-weight, ultra-precise platform that allows the patented liquid-filled sensor and its microprocessor circuitry to provide unsurpassed accuracy throughout the protractor’s 360o range. As the protractor is moved, the liquid seeks a new position, resulting in changes in the electrical properties of the sensor. A microprocessor analyzes the changes and calculates the numbers seen on the display. Maximum accuracy of +/- 0.1o and maximum resolution of 0.1o. 6″ Safety Wire Twister
Used for installing safety wire on oil filters and aircraft hardware. 6″ length is great for limited access areas. .041 wire capacity, 6″ automatic return.
Propeller Torque Adapter Wrench
Finally, a custom tool for removing and installing hard-to-access propeller nuts. Double-ended, one end features a standard open-end jaw for initial loosening and final tightening, and a speed wrench for quick removal and faster installation is on the other end.
7/8″ Martin Wrench
7/8″ Martin wrench is used for loosening and tightening top spark plug ignition lead nuts on Cirrus SR22s (normally aspirated, turbo normalized, and turbo) and late model SR20s. Finish may vary.

11″ Wobble Extension
Snap-On 11″L Wobble Extension 3/8″ Drive greatly assists in the removal of spark plugs when obstructed by baffling and exhaust systems. Wobble function provides up to 16 degrees of off-center flexibility. Knurled shank for easy fingertip turning. Made in USA.
Bent Nose Pliers
Snap-On bent needle nose pliers. Great for pulling back seat attach point pins and smaller cotter pins on engine control castle nuts. 9″ long, 35° bend. The Talon Grip™ design provides up to a 57% increase in pulling power (compared to pliers with straight serrated jaws) with a relocated joint, optimized handle shape, and diamond-serrated jaws.
