This tool was made specifically to safely and securely hold the Curtis drain valve (P/N CCA-1200) while removing the retaining nut. Using a 3/4″ drive wrench or socket, the two field-replaceable pins secure the drain valve against rotation. Counter-bored to fit old and new style Curtis drain valves, the tool sits flush with the surface to prevent rocking. No more channel locks or vise grips needed to do the job!
